Although a bodyweight exercise, the Nordic Hold is a high loading isometric exercise that puts significant work into the hamstrings and potentially the lumbar extensors. The isometric holding times will tend to be short, and it make take a couple of attempts to find the sweet spot where the exercise is very difficult but your do not collapse forwards.
