Progressing on from the single leg glute bridge hold, the single leg glute bridge is a greatly underestimated exercise. The single leg nature of the exercise makes it very unstable, this puts a lot of stability and proprioceptive demands on the hip, pelvis and lower back musculature. It is the type of exercise that you will not generally load a huge amount, in terms of adding extra weight, but it is an option.
